Bet-David took no pay for Charlie Kirk Backtop trip

On PBD Podcast he put private jet and fuel for Backtop at about fifty thousand dollars after Andrew offered full cost.

In an episode posted Aug. 18, 2026, Patrick Bet-David on the PBD Podcast addressed travel tied to Charlie Kirk and pushed back on claims that he and his team had acted for money around that work.

Bet-David framed the Backtop trip as loyalty to Charlie Kirk and told viewers that hosts had offered to pay him to go. He asked what the private jet and jet fuel to Backtop cost and put the figure at about fifty thousand dollars, noting it was not a small jet.

Andrew had offered to cover full cost for whatever was needed, he said. "I didn't take a penny for this thing," Bet-David told the audience. He quoted Andrew as saying, "No, we're going to pay you full cost, whatever you need."

He said he did not tell Candace Owens she had to pay them. "Nothing matters more to me than Charlie Kirk," he said, and he wanted to find out what happened and move forward.
