Brazilian football-game YouTuber Dedeco died at 33

Fernanda Leite announced his death on October 28, weeks after the couple married in Rio and said they were expecting a child.

Dedeco, whose Master League saves and EA FC career-mode series made him one of Brazil’s largest football-game channels, died at 33. André Luiz Berbett Pinheiro Lopes began uploading in 2015 and passed one million subscribers.

His wife Fernanda Leite shared the news on October 28. The two had married in Rio de Janeiro shortly before, and on October 9 they announced a pregnancy with a photo of baby items in Flamengo colors, the club he supported for life.

No cause of death has been given. After his funeral, Fernanda wrote on Instagram that becoming a father had been his biggest dream and that he was happy when they learned they were expecting.

Flamengo brought him on in 2020 to make content for its esports side as his channel kept growing. He later joined Brazil’s national esports broadcasts as a commentator, including at the 2025 FIFAe World Cup in Riyadh.

The Brazilian Football Association paid respects and described him as a partner on the eSeleção’s esports broadcasts.
