At Camp Looks Max, paid attendees spent a week on soft maxing, cold approaches, and online dating tactics that included photo fraud. All Gas No Brakes correspondent Taji filmed inside separate men's and women's houses after organizers turned the crew away on the first day. Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan posted the report on Oct. 22, 2026.

Campers paid $1,700 for the session during a live Tinder profile workshop. Sign-ups ran through camplooks.com, where staff on camera pitched later seasons at roughly $10,000 for a full week.

The camp drew men from looksmaxxing forums and influencer circles. One camper said LaMarcus, who runs looksax.org, invited him after Reddit terminated r/incels and LaMarcus built successor forums. Clavicular, a prominent looksmaxxing creator, coached attendees on jaw surgery, steroid cycles, and hydrocortisone on the nose to shrink it without surgery.

Staff mapped each camper's facial ratios and offered spray tans, Botox, and hair stylists as soft maxing. Presenters said the program also trained men to act more neurotypical through prolonged conversation drills and bar cold approaches.

At the dating profile session, Clavicular and an instructor called Hex walked the room through real campers' Tinder photos. They labeled solo gym shots aspie and urged social proof in every frame. Hex said AI could drop a G Wagon behind a head shot for status. When one man listed himself as five foot ten, Hex told him to claim six foot or six foot one because many women filter out shorter profiles.

Hex opened Adobe Photoshop on a secondary layer and liquified a sample face, pulling the jaw up, narrowing the nose, and lowering the hairline. He called the result a more ascended version of Kendall Jenner. The schedule listed a presentation on morphing photos like fraud.

Taji joined overnight bar runs and daytime cold approaches with campers. One instructor told him that joining an approach could hurt a less attractive friend's odds and that the exercise was low expected value for men outside a narrow look tier. Taji still wingmanned a camper who got a phone number from a woman at a bar.

Channel 5 paid for Taji to receive a haircut, beard trim, and Botox before another night of approaches. Camp security eventually ordered the crew out after a long stay.

A woman Taji met during a cold approach said she wanted to attend a future season. Staff on camera quoted $10,000 for a week at Camp Looks Max.
