Channel 5 shared its email list with Hunter Biden

The YouTube show said it removed subscriber addresses before a September 9 meme coin blast.

Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan said it handed Hunter Biden a CSV of its email subscribers after he asked to use the list for a future product launch. The admission landed as Biden prepared a meme coin set to debut on September 9.

The show said Biden had asked for access to its mailing list to expand his audience when he launched something new. Channel 5 confirmed it shared the sheet even as Biden's team built a recipient pool that also drew on his Substack list and people who had lost money on President Donald Trump's $TRUMP meme coin.

Channel 5 then distanced itself from the coin. "Channel 5 and I have nothing to do with Hunter Biden's crypto coin. We have not, do not, and never will advertise crypto," it said. The outlet added that it does not believe crypto is a legitimate investment.

On September 7, Channel 5 said on X that Hunter Biden's team had not emailed any of its public subscribers and that it removed every address from the list before the blast went out.
