Grace Helbig said leg numbness brought her to the emergency room on October 12, where doctors found two brain tumors. She told followers the masses are operable and that surgery is booked for Wednesday, October 14.

Helbig, 41, was in remission after triple-positive breast cancer she disclosed in July 2023. She wrote that the cancer might have returned in her brain and that she may need radiation after the operation.

She is postponing remaining dates on her 2026 This Might Get Weird tour until 2027 and taking a week off from her podcast with Mamrie Hart. When she first treated the breast cancer, she credited Hank Green with helping her process the news through his own cancer videos.

Helbig said she remains cautiously optimistic. She may need radiation after the October 14 procedure.
