YouTube announced conversational prompts for custom homepage feeds

The tabs refresh automatically with recommendations after users save them to the home screen, YouTube said at Made On in New York.

YouTube said at Made On on September 23 that viewers will soon design homepage feeds with conversational prompts.

In a blog post, the platform said users can save multiple custom feeds to the home screen and each tab will update automatically with fresh recommendations.

Suggested prompts include finding witty podcasts for a daily commute or long documentaries for evening viewing.

Mina Le showed the tool on stage in New York. "Custom Feeds allows you to create dedicated tabs for any interest, routine, or mood," she said. "Just prompt a new feed into existence and it appears right there on your homepage, constantly updating with hyper-relevant creators and content."
