Airrack lost McDonald's employee of the month vote

Crew trainers voted after he posed as an experienced hire for twelve hours with no training.

Airrack worked about twelve hours at a McDonald's restaurant while posing as a trained new hire and lost the store's employee of the month vote.

The owner, Patrick, had told the staff that Airrack was an experienced fast food worker. Managers assigned him to the register, the burger line, and the drive-thru while he used a disguise and the alias Ricky Filet.

When kitchen staff pulled him off the line over slow orders and wrong modifications, McDonald's corporate chef Mike Harx and YouTube chef Joshua Weissman coached him through burgers over an earpiece. Employees noticed his cooking improved.

Airrack rang up free meals with homemade coupons and paid for them himself. He also gave drive-thru customers Dodgers tickets, AirPods, and a Nintendo Switch.

Manager Hyrone sent him out of the kitchen but praised his patience before leaving the store and did not know Airrack was an imposter.

Patrick met Airrack after the shift to deliver the employee of the month result. Crew trainers had voted as a team. Patrick said feedback started weak, improved during the day, and the store would not name him employee of the month. One trainer cited too much ketchup on sandwiches.
