Airrack staged driverless Tesla pranks on passengers for video
Passengers, security guards, and fast-food workers reacted before he revealed the pranks.
Airrack hid a stunt driver inside a Tesla and filmed several pranks built to look like a car with nobody at the wheel. The rides and stunts aired on his channel.
In the main Uber-style setup, accomplices booked trips for relatives who thought the vehicle was self-driving. Zach Justice supplied a deadpan voice for the car while it rerouted toward San Diego and Mexico on the navigation display. The passenger’s grandson joined by phone and pretended not to know what was happening.
The ride escalated to a staged gas-station collision and warnings blaring inside the cabin. Airrack appeared in a mock police uniform and pressed the rider about the hit before the crew dropped the bit.
At a fake antiques storefront, hired security challenged the Tesla in a handicap space and called a tow truck that could not grab a car that kept moving. Later the same hidden-driver setup rolled through a drive-through, where workers handed food to an apparently empty front seat until a child in the back claimed the Tesla was hers.
The car surged forward into the drive-through lane and shut the window down. Airrack told the staff on site that the driverless act was a prank.
