Amazon joined YouTube Shopping's affiliate program

Eligible U.S. creators can tag Amazon listings in videos, Shorts, and livestreams for commission.

Amazon joined YouTube Shopping's affiliate program, Neal Mohan said Thursday on X. Engadget reported that eligible U.S. creators can now link Amazon product listings from their YouTube videos.

Videos, Shorts, and livestreams can all carry tagged Amazon items, with creators earning a commission when viewers buy through those links.

YouTube lowered the subscriber threshold for Shopping participation in March. More than 1 million creators have signed up for the program, and the affiliate offering recently expanded to Argentina, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
