Hunter Biden said fighting years of federal investigations left him about $15 million in debt from legal bills alone, and he rated his personal finances zero out of ten. He told hosts Graham Stephan and Jack Selby on The Iced Coffee Hour that the figure covered four years of defense work and had nothing to do with addiction or drug use.

Stephan and Selby structured the conversation as a financial audit as Biden returned to long-form interviews and promoted his $Laptop meme coin. Biden said he wanted to reach crypto-native listeners with token mechanics he described as the reverse of celebrity launches built for insider extraction.

Biden said he held no liquid assets and that his paintings and personal belongings were essentially all he owned. He said creditors were mainly law firms and that he had renegotiated terms with some while one dispute remained in litigation.

Asked about bankruptcy, Biden said he might file because it could be his only option, though he still intended to pay what he owed. He said he was not saving or buying stocks while Substack revenue and art sales covered bills after wildfire losses in Los Angeles led his family to stay in Cape Town.

On $Laptop, Biden said a market maker put only $5,000 into the launch liquidity pool, which he said briefly pushed the quoted market cap to $316 billion before prices collapsed. He said no insiders had cashed out and that bots drove most of the first hour of trading.

In a closing round, Biden said he did not own a single stock, despite hosts offering to fund his first purchase through Robinhood.
