YouTube expanded Ask Studio to iOS and Android

Made On YouTube also brought draft feedback, a research feed, and proactive thumbnail swaps to YouTube Studio.

YouTube said at Made On YouTube on September 23, 2026 that Ask Studio, its AI Q&A inside YouTube Studio, now runs on iOS and Android as well as the web dashboard creators use to manage uploads.

Aparna Pappu, YouTube's vice president, said Studio gained a feedback tool that reads unpublished uploads and returns notes on pacing, structure, and storytelling before a video goes live. Separate Insights and Research sections surface outlier videos on the platform so creators can spot formats that are working and adapt them.

Studio can generate thumbnails and titles from a video's content in a channel's existing look. A dynamic thumbnail option serves three generated images to different audience slices. YouTube said creators have run more than 40 million title and thumbnail A/B tests since that feature launched in 2024.

Cut A/B testing for up to three opening hooks is coming soon. Later in 2026, YouTube Studio will watch live thumbnail performance and replace an image on its own when one lags. Analytics updates will explain why videos gained or lost views and suggest ways to keep audiences watching.
