YouTube secured exclusive Coachella livestreams through 2030

Neal Mohan announced the Goldenvoice agreement Wednesday at Made On YouTube in New York.

YouTube will remain the exclusive livestream home of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival through 2030 under a new agreement with promoter Goldenvoice. Neal Mohan disclosed the terms on stage Wednesday morning at Made On YouTube, the platform’s creator event overlooking the Hudson River in New York City.

"We're excited to bring the energy of the desert to millions of music fans around the world," Mohan told the audience.

Live coverage has included every stage since YouTube began carrying the festival, and the April 2027 run will mark a fifteenth consecutive year on the service. The broadcasts now span both April weekends and offer multiview for viewers at home.

YouTube has also expanded backstage and on-site access for creators filming for the platform alongside the official feeds.

Festival headliners have treated the livestream as part of the show. Justin Bieber built YouTube videos into his Coachella set last year.

The renewed pact keeps YouTube as Coachella’s sole streaming outlet until 2030.
