Cops caught MrBeast's team and won $500,000

All five fugitives were in custody with 90 minutes left in the 12-hour chase.

One hundred police officers caught MrBeast and four friends before the deadline, and the department kept the $500,000 prize.

MrBeast staged a 12-hour chase across a city rigged with hidden rooms, cameras, and traps. He and four friends had to stay free until the clock ran out. If officers arrested every suspect, the department took half a million dollars. Each arrest also paid $100,000, and anyone who lasted the full run would send $100,000 to their mother.

Darius was the first out, barely ten minutes in, after officers pulled him from a hay-covered fort. The department was already $100,000 richer. Officers formed a line and swept block by block while the group split up, crawled through sewers, and slipped past searches.

Nolan drew officers toward staged explosions from a rooftop. More than fifty MrBeast lookalikes in black backpacks led a separate squad into a movie theater and locked the doors behind them.

Tareq went down next, and officers put him in a cell with his name on the door. MrBeast, Nolan, and Alison later crawled through tunnels toward the jail to break him and Darius out. Alison hung back when a cop spotted the group, then escaped through a hole in the tunnel wall and met the others at a container yard.

MrBeast kept moving with night-vision gear, smoke grenades, and a drone that mapped every officer on the field. Officers tightened the search as the clock ran down.

With an hour and a half still on the clock, police had all five suspects in handcuffs. The department collected the full $500,000 pot.
