Nolan and Tareq won MrBeast's race to the evacuation helicopter
They reached the evacuation helicopter first and took home $100,000 for their mothers.
Nolan and Tareq reached a rescue helicopter before two rival teams in a MrBeast challenge across the Amazon, a desert, and Antarctica. The desert pair won $100,000 for their mothers.
MrBeast split six creators into three pairs, each starting in a different extreme environment. Every team had to hike to its own evacuation helicopter, and the first pair to touch the aircraft took the cash.
MrBeast raced through the Amazon with Thea while Nolan and Tareq crossed a desert where each man carried an extra 35 pounds of water. Darius and Alison started in Antarctica, where whiteout conditions soon dropped them to 7 percent of the course while the other teams were near 20 percent.
The Amazon crew built a raft from bamboo and inflatable mattresses to cross a river MrBeast said held anacondas and a strong current. The current swept them about two miles off their landing spot, turning what they planned as a shortcut into a long detour.
Antarctic winds later hit gusts of about 50 miles an hour and forced Darius and Alison to stop. Alison said she thought they had lost. MrBeast threw up after an hour of nonstop hiking in the jungle heat, then traded carrying Thea's pack as the pair pushed through a storm.
With about two and a half miles left, the desert team abandoned their backpacks and ran. Near the finish, the teams agreed to stop sharing progress updates until someone won.
Nolan spotted the helicopter on a hill and sprinted for it with Tareq. MrBeast and Thea saw their own aircraft moments later but arrived second.
Nolan touched the helicopter and shouted that he had done it. MrBeast handed Nolan's mother a briefcase with the prize money. Darius and Alison reached their landing site to find the helicopter gone. Darius said they might have been a little late.
