Henry Poston reported a stranger threatened him during a Rhode Island stream
Footage from his September coffinboarding broadcast drew fresh attention before he spoke on November 4. Police have not confirmed an investigation.
Henry Poston, who streams on YouTube while lying on a longboard, broke his silence on November 4 about a confrontation during a September broadcast along the Blackstone River in Rhode Island.
Excerpted clips from that day circulated again on social platforms this week. Poston had stayed quiet about the incident until he posted a thread on X describing how he escaped.
He was passing pedestrians when a man on a bicycle stopped him and offered to show him a spot on the route. Poston followed him into a wooded area, then tried to leave when the man repeatedly told him to turn off his camera.
Poston said he rolled away feeling he was going to die and met the same man again minutes later. The man told him, "That means I already killed you. You're dead. You're at the bottom of the river," and added that he would not do that.
Poston said he believed he would die that day, longboarded about six miles to his car, drove out of Rhode Island, and has not returned. He reported the encounter to local police and said he thought the man had a knife.
He also said that under two months earlier another man had been found dead in the river at the same location. Poston said he was not claiming the two incidents were connected.
Local police have not confirmed whether an investigation is underway and have referred the case to another department.
