Mark Rober lost a six-game board rematch to Mr. Malloy

Malloy tied the series at three wins each and won the Hungry Hippo marble tiebreaker.

Mark Rober lost a six-game board game rematch to Mr. Malloy at Crunch Labs.

Malloy had helped Rober build a Guess Who strategy about 10 years ago, when Malloy was Rober's high school statistics teacher. Rober toured him through the lab, then told Malloy the visit was a board game ambush and lined up six games.

Rober won Connect Four, tic-tac-toe, and Jenga. Malloy won Battleship and Monopoly. On Squirrel Dash, a board game Rober designed around his backyard squirrels, they tied and settled the series with a Hungry Hippo-style marble race. Malloy won the last marble.

Rober had said he wanted a clean sweep after years of deadlocked Guess Who games against Malloy. Malloy told him to prepare to get his butt kicked before the first game.
